Will Lady GaGa be the most outrageous Royal Variety Show guest ever?

She is following in the footsteps of wholesome entertainers such as Sir Cliff Richard and will undoubtedly want to rise to the occasion.
It's a fair bet she will have something eye-popping in mind for this Royal occasion. No doubt Blackpool Opera House will never have seen the like. But is her outrageousness a soberly manufactured construct, purely for marketing purposes? Or is Lady GaGa, well, gaga?

Gerard Butler believes his commitment issues with women are caused by the fact his father didn't raise him.
The 'Gamer' actor was raised solely by his mother after his parents divorced when he was just two and he believes his commitment issues stem from the fact his dad wasn't around.
Butler - who didn't have contact with his father again until he was 16 - told German magazine Joy: "I act very awkward when I am with women. Perhaps that's because my mother brought me up alone. My father gambled away all our money and eventually went bankrupt. So one night our family had to flee head over heels to Canada. At that time my mother was five months pregnant with me. Shortly after my second birthday my father let us down. It is said that men who grow up without a father have a fear of commitment."
Despite his own disrupted childhood, the 40-year-old actor would love to have a family of his own but admits he needs to find the right woman first.
He added: "It's about time. But a woman by my side would be very helpful in this project."
Butler has most recently been romantically linked to his 'The Bounty Hunter' co-star Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Simpson, but he insists most of the rumours are not true.
He said: "It's totally bizarre. Since I am considered in Hollywood to be a true womaniser people impute affairs to me all the time. Last year I was linked to ten different women! Only one of them was true."

MORE HERE @
As I alluded to in my last post, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about revamping this blog to suit my changing blogging habits. I have come to a lot of conclusions, and I have a general outline of a) what will occur on this blog between now and the new year and b) what changes I need to make to this blog, both internally and externally.
Within the next few days, I will be posting a “Best of 2009″ list of my favorite blog entries from this year, similar to the list that Amanda does with her blog at the end of every year. Not only will it serve a handy purpose of keeping all the links to what I consider to be my best or favorite blog entries in one place, it’ll be a nice way to say goodbye to the ol’ blogging schedule, as that will become a thing of the past.
Once I have finished my end of semester finals and returned home for winter break in mid-December, I will be putting this blog on Maintenance Mode and work on making all the necessary changes. There’s going to be a new structure, a new system, a new layout… new everything, essentially. I’ve already started to outline all the changes and I’m really excited to see how it all turns out.
I will be relaunching my blog on January 1, 2010 at 12pm CST. To celebrate, I will be holding a Twitter contest! It will run throughout the first week of January. The prize will be of the handmade variety (think back to my Crafting posts from last summer). I will announce the start of the contest both on this blog and on Twitter, so be sure to subscribe to my RSS feed and follow me on Twitter if you haven’t already!
That, in a nutshell, is what my plans are for this blog between now and the new year. I’ll see you all on the other side!

The purpose of this post is to introduce some new blood to the community, where you (the watchers and members here) can recommend resource makers you feel are top-notch at what they do.
Each of us have our own favorite resource makers and we all run in different resource circles. Because of this there are probably lots of resource makers we (myself and the previous mods) haven't yet discovered, who are really awesome and deserve to be an resource maker here. Here you have the chance to tell me about them!
I'm looking for makers who are already consistently fantastic, people who create and provide creative, unique and various resources, and people who show a lot of potential who would be a great addition to the community in the future.
Some things to keep in mind when making recommendations:
* Don't recommend someone who is already a member. Please check the members list at the bottom of the community profile for a current list of our members/resource makers.
* Links to resources must be publicly available (ie, not friends/members-locked, this includes "this post will be locked in ___ days") and the the resources have to be un-protected. That means, no passwords, or forcing people to comment for the download links. I have to be able to get the textures without having to comment, requiring passwords, membership, being friended, or logging in to access them ect. So please do not recommend someone who has a members locked community, a maker who wants people to comment to get the download link, or someone who password protects their resources ect.
* Do not recommend people who makes text "textures" or text brushes, or people who crop stock images of landscapes/nature/animals/houses/woods/c
* If the person you are recommending has a separate journal/community that they post their resources in, leave the name of that journal/community along with their personal journal.
* Make sure that the person you are recommending has updated at least once in the past two months. Recommending dead journals or people who are no longer creating sharable resources is sort of pointless.
* Make sure the person you are recommending has at least five different resource sets available. Part of what makes
* Feel free to link to a maximum of three (3) resource posts that you think are outstanding examples of the work done by the person you are recommending. [Do NOT post their work directly in your comment or hotlink to their resources.]
* Keep in mind that not everyone who gets recommended will get invited to become a posting member of the community; such is the nature of the community, of course.
* You can recommenced as many people as you want.
All comments will be screened, just to make sure this post doesn't turn into a popularity contest.
